The Decision to Hand Over the Reins
We would like to announce that ERA Henley Real Estate is changing owners. The transfer of ownership will take place early in January of 2014. Richard Henley has decided to hand over the company to pursue other interests. This announcement may be met with some trepidation at first but let me do what I can to put the apprehension to rest.

First of all, Richard isn't going anywhere. He will still be part of ERA Henley Real Estate. He has expressed a desire to focus more on listing and selling properties which is something he didn't have much time to do as the manager of the company. He has other additional plans involving the company that will be revealed at a later date. Suffice it to say that he isn't stepping down so much as he is stepping sideways. He will continue to play a major role in the growth of ERA in Conway even though it will be from a different position.
So who is the new owner? The answer is Mark and Tracy Tidwell. Tracy Tidwell has been working with Richard at ERA Henley Real Estate since spring of 2002 while growing her team. They have worked together for many years and seen the company grow into the success it is now.

The new owners plan to continue the tradition of excellence that has worked so well for the company. There is no hostile take over or culling of the ranks with this transition. On the contrary, what is transpiring is an exchange of roles that will benefit both parties and the company as a whole.
